Free puzzles, and one board everywhere

Website Launched free, unlimited tactics puzzles at /puzzles — pins, forks, skewers, discovered attacks, back-rank mates, and more, with hints and a rating that adapts to how you're doing.
Website Rebuilt the analysis board with real chess artwork and smooth, animated moves, and brought the same board to game reviews so the two look and feel like one product.
Website Game reviews now analyze every position in the background as soon as you open one, instead of computing each move on demand — stepping through a game is instant.

Opening Book, and sign-in from the board

Extension Added an Opening Book to the live analysis panel — browse classical openings (Ruy Lopez, Sicilian, Queen's Gambit, King's Indian, and dozens more) and see the book continuation drawn directly on the board as you play, alongside the engine's own ratings.
Extension You can now sign in and out directly from the on-board panel, no need to leave the game to open the toolbar popup.

Stockfish 19, and unlimited game reviews

Extension Added Stockfish 19 as an optional Deep Analysis engine, alongside the default Stockfish 18 lite engine used for everyday instant analysis.
Extension Website Launched free, unlimited full-game reviews for Chess.com. Click "Analyze on StockFishy" after any game — no daily limit, and it works even if you never turned on live analysis during the game itself.

StockFishy is closed-source, but we publish this changelog in the same spirit most good software does: so you can see what's actually changing and when, without digging through release notes buried in a store listing.
